I took this picture of my toy models. I think this is a good picture because it shows depth of field. The toy in the middle is very sharp and clear. While the toy on the right side seems to be blurry, but the toy on the left side is not as blurry. And in the background is very blurry. The lighting goes from bright to dim from the left to right side.

Technology Lounge Ideas

For the technology lounge, my first idea is that I want to take a close up shot of a circuit board and then in the background I can use Photoshop with the image of space. I want explain how technology is so advance and that it is out of this world. My second idea is maybe I can take a photo of one of my toy robots. Then I can use Photoshop to do like a half and half composite image, where on the left side is of the robot’s face and the right side is of a human’s face.

Happiness 101 Ideas

After reading the article on “Happiness 101,” I had 2 ideas come to mind. My first idea was that maybe I can photograph a couple sitting outside of a restaurant. It’s a very nice and sunny day and they are enjoying their time together with each other. Or another version of the couple is that they could sharing a drink together, both sipping through a straw and staring at each other’s eyes. My second idea is just a tight close up shot of a couple holding hands together walking along a park on a beautiful day.

Flower Inside

This was a picture that I took when I was in my front lawn. I tried to get a shot as close as I can of the flower’s inside. It was bright and sunny outside, so the colors made this picture even more eye catching because of the bright and vibrant colors of the flower. The colors red and yellow are very contrasty and the sharp and clearness of the flower’s inside is what really catches my eyes’ attention.

King of the Park

This picture I took when I was walking in the park. I asked the permission of the woman to see if she would let me take a picture of her dog. She said yes and I was excited. I captured the dog while it was kneeling down on all four legs with its head up high. What caught my attention in this picture are the dog’s big eyes. Giving me a dramatic feeling that it’s staring into space looking graceful. Also the focus on the dog is sharp and clear while the people in the background are blurry.

Laserpitum siler, Laserwort

This photograph was taken by Karl Blossfeldt. To me, this photo gives me the feeling something is falling from the sky. At first, I thought they were snowflakes. Then I enlarged the image and realized they weren’t snowflakes. Each object in the photo are cluttered together, feeling like the objects are coming towards you. The other image in the background seems like the inside of an umbrella. Still not sure what the photo is, but it suppose to be part of a fertilizing cluster magnified four times.

Sweet Flowers

My friend made this bouquet of flowers. The colors of pink, purple, and white go along very well with each other. The colors compliment each other giving it a romantic feeling. A client came in to my friend’s store and requested this bouquet to be made. My friend and I worked on it together, while she made the flowers and I did the wrapping and layout. It took a while to make because it contained 100 flowers in the bouquet. In the end, the design came out very beautiful, so I took a picture to capture the work that my friend and I accomplished.

This photo was taken by Yousuf Karsh. The lighting in this picture is dramatic in way. It seems there is lighting in the background and probably a light source coming from the side. As you can see the light on the man’s face, it gives me the impression that something special is going to happen. The man seems very happy that a lady is talking to him or giving him a kiss. The two in the picture look happy and sweet together.
